Honey & Lime Grilled Prawns

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g large prawns (peeled and deveined)

  • 3 tbsp South West Honey (Redgum honey is a great choice!)

  • 2 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Β½ tsp sea salt

  • ΒΌ tsp black pepper

  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

  • Lime wedges (for serving)

METHOD

  1. Prepare the prawns – In a bowl, toss the prawns with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili flakes (if using).

  2. Make the glaze – In a separate bowl, whisk together South West Honey, lime juice, and a pinch of salt.

  3. Grill the prawns – Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the prawns for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
